Risk transfer in real estate is as old as the hills … … and value protection in M&A an equally fundamental client priority. Addressing different risks in real estate M&A deals, however, can be challenging as clients navigate the insurance market to secure protection for title and warranty & indemnity (W&I) matters using different policy combinations. This can result in coverage overlaps – even gaps – if such policies respond differently (or not at all) to the same risk; and it can have cost implications, impacting returns. We are proud to launch Aon’s Complete Real Estate Solution (ACRES) to remove coverage, pricing and process inefficiencies and provide a single solution to cover multiple real estate risks. Designing a single policy to cover both W&I and title, clients and their advisers can improve their access to risk capital and value protection. ACRES is available for transactions whereby the underlying real estate is in the UK.
